Office furniture refurbishment and reuse
Most office furniture is replaced long before it’s worn out. We look at what you already have, then refurbish it, move it to where it’s needed, or find it a new home, so you only buy new where you have to. Across our projects, reuse has saved clients £2.38 million.
Start with an audit
Before anything is cleared, we survey what you own: what’s worth keeping, what can be refurbished, what can move elsewhere, and what has genuinely reached the end of its life.
At BRE’s Science Park, that audit found 240 items worth reworking, saving £29,930.

Repairs and replacement parts
Most repairs happen on site. We replace arms, gas lifts, castors, bases and seat covers on chairs, and swap damaged desk tops, so a chair that sinks or a desk that’s marked doesn’t need replacing.
Larger jobs, such as re-upholstery, wood refinishing, desk resizing and re-laminating, we collect, refurbish and bring back.

Spares for the furniture you already own
We supply a lot of Senator and Elite furniture, so we hold a good stock of their spares. For almost any other make, we can source the parts.
Our own team fits them, on site or in our workshop.

Re-upholstery
We collect the chairs, re-upholster them and bring them back, usually within one to two weeks.
At UCL’s Chandler House, 80 chairs that looked worn out were recovered for £90 each, against £160 for new: a saving of £5,600, with the same chairs back in the same rooms. There is more on our re-upholstery page.

Redeploy and rehome
Furniture you no longer need in one place can often be used in another: a different floor, building or site.
What genuinely isn’t needed, we rehome: 5,687 items so far, to charities and community groups. For the Lord Lieutenant’s Charity Hub in Hertfordshire, 94 items of surplus furniture furnished a space for eight local charities, saving £31,000.

Reuse at scale
For Sky Studios Elstree, we sourced 3,507 items, all pre-owned or end-of-line, £450,902 below the cost of new.
If you have furniture that looks tired but still works, send us a photo and a rough count, and we’ll tell you whether it’s worth refurbishing.
