Working with Hertfordshire partners
When the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce moved into its own office for the first time, we designed it around the team, supplied 114 items, stored key furniture during the move and installed with nothing sent to landfill. Naomi Powell, Operations Director: “Keeping the heart in Herts is our joint philosophy.”
For the Lord Lieutenant’s Charity Hub at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, we furnished 3,000 sq ft for eight local charities with no budget. Through the Herts GoGreen & Grow Group, surplus furniture from Vanarama and GSK went into the hub: 94 items, saving £31,000. Because everyone involved was local, transport and installation stayed affordable.
Science and studios across the county
BRE Science Park, Watford. We audited the existing furniture before anything was cleared, and 240 items were worth reworking, saving £29,930.
Rothamsted Enterprises, Harpenden. Co-working and office space for science and agri-tech businesses.
Sky Studios Elstree. 3,507 items, all pre-owned or end-of-line, £450,902 below the cost of new.
Hertfordshire’s NHS and public sector
We’ve furnished new offices at Lister Hospital in Stevenage, where the Head of Supply Chain told us “the Lister team (and myself) LOVE the new office!!”, waiting areas at Watford General Hospital, and staff rooms across Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust.
Public bodies can also buy through Hertfordshire County Council’s office furniture contract, HCC2214198, available through Herts FullStop to June 2027.
Aftercare close to hand
Being nearby makes the work after installation easier. We can reconfigure furniture as a team changes, re-upholster chairs instead of replacing them, and deal with repairs quickly.
Everything we supply carries a 10-year supported warranty, and we take furniture back at the end of its life.
