Blaze and Fiona have been in London this week, giving a breakfast presentation to designers at TP Bennett’s offices in America Street, SE1.
Leaving a legacy through sustainable workspace development is JPA’s purpose and we were delighted to have the opportunity to share our ideas and get feedback from the design team who cam down to see us.
Greater circularity, greater social and environmental impact were all discussed, not to mention the reduction of furniture carbon by 50% by 2030, mirroring building carbon reductions required for in the same timescale if we are all to hit NetZero by 2050.
There was a lot of interest, and plenty of ooohs and aaaahs in response to the selection of innovative samples and materials taken curated by the JPA team, all featuring high percentages of recycled materials – fabric, plastic and timber, a real glimpse of what is to come. Thank you everyone for making us feel so welcome, we loved it and can’t wait to visit again.
